Overview
L.A. Gauge is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented candidate to join our team. We value candidates who are eager for personal and professional growth.
- 3 - 5 years shop experience on various machines producing aircraft parts
- Must have Microscope Experience and able to identify .003/.005 break radius visually
- Blueprint reading, understanding machine shop terminology, able to use and understand machinist tools
- Must have general knowledge of bench procedures & able to use hand tools required to bench parts
- Able to lift and/or push up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to constantly stand for long periods of time
- Constant gripping, squeezing, pinching, wrist-turning/spinning movement
- Compliance with safety standards and policies (will be graded with job performance)
Key Responsibilities (will include, but are not limited to):
- Deburr, bench, blend parts to customer specifications & written bench instructions as directed by lead.
- Bench parts to drawing requirements and written instructions
- Work alongside Material Expeditors to maintain production flow, on or off machine
- Work alongside floor supervisors and leads to adhere to production schedules on parts
- Work alongside quality control personnel, concerning parts or jobs being worked on to maintain the highest quality assurance possible.
