Responsibilities

Patient Coordination: Assist in managing patient appointments, ensuring seamless scheduling and minimizing waiting times.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with dental professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Financial Coordination: Explain treatment costs and available payment options, ensuring patients understand and feel comfortable with the financial aspects.

Administrative Support: Handle patient records, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Patient Education: Provide information and guidance to patients on dental procedures and post-treatment care to enhance their understanding and compliance.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure cohesive patient care and treatment execution.


Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a dental office or similar healthcare setting.

Skills: Must know how to treatment plan HMO's, PPO's, Medicare and Medical

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental assisting or treatment coordination is a plus.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly to patients.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage patient schedules efficiently.

Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, welcoming demeanor with a passion for patient care and the ability to foster positive patient relationships.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental practice management software and basic computer skills.

Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with dental insurance processes and billing is preferred.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with dental professionals and administrative staff.
