Position Overview:
The Treatment Coordinator serves as the central point of communication for patients and providers, ensuring each patient has a smooth and informed experience from treatment presentation to completion. This position also encompasses full front desk responsibilities, including scheduling, insurance coordination, and patient follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and present treatment plans for 2 Registered Dental Hygienists, 1 full-time doctor, and 1 part-time doctor.
- Review treatment recommendations with patients, answer questions, and provide financial options.
- Manage the dental schedule to optimize provider productivity while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
- Verify insurance benefits, prepare pre-authorizations, and submit claims.
- Collect payments, process billing, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Handle front desk operations including phones, scheduling, and daily check-in/check-out.
- Maintain communication between clinical and administrative teams.
- Support a positive and professional atmosphere that reflects the practice’s commitment to patient care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years dental front office or treatment coordinator experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software Dentrix,
- Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, and treatment coding.
- Friendly, empathetic, and confident in presenting treatment plans and financial options.
