Job Title: Department Admin
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Department Admin to provide general administrative support for the PTT Department. This role involves working collaboratively with various team members and divisions to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support for the PTT Department, collaborating with the General Manager and other team members.
  • Facilitate new hire setup and onboarding, including desk setup and required access.
  • Maintain department organization charts and evacuation lists.
  • Train new Powertrain Division Admins in collaboration with other Admins.
  • Manage budget processes including direct funding, indirect/operations budget, and Capex.
  • Attend budget meetings and prepare monthly status reports.
  • Submit and track purchase requisitions, vendor invoicing, and ensure PO reconciliation.
  • Prepare and submit monthly accruals and budget corrections.
  • Assist in capital budget processes and annual FADAR maintenance activities.
  • Arrange and set up meetings and department events.
  • Coordinate executive, guest, and international visitor tours.
  • Organize team building events, department lunches, and other recognitions.
  • Order office supplies and manage the supplies budget.
  • Arrange travel as needed.
  • Distribute mail occasionally.
  • Assist in special projects and cross-company communications.
  • Participate in administrative staff support meetings and provide backup as needed.
  • Assist with IT systems maintenance and data restructuring activities.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of general office/department support experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with SAP/Ariba is strongly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong accounting/financial background is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members at all organizational levels.
Work Environment

This position is fully onsite with working hours from 9am to 5:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
