Job Description
The Department of Dermatology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians Surgeons is seeking a new or mid-career physician as Assistant Clinical Dermatologist or a seasoned physician as Associate Clinical Dermatologist specialized in Pediatric Dermatology . This position will involve working at a new, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester White Plains, adjacent to New York City. In this role, you will participate in providing the highest level of care to pediatric patients seeking dermatological care. Clinical responsibilities include: Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes. Work collaboratively with colleagues supporting their professional development and growth. Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts. Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications. Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients. Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction scores. Meet or exceed productivity targets. Meet performance expectations for quality and access metrics Candidates must hold an MD degree (or equivalent), have completed Dermatology training, be board certified/eligible in Dermatology and be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Pediatric Dermatology training a plus. Westchester County is a beautiful suburban area with easy access to New York City. The salary range for this position is: $430,182-$516,218. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
