Designer at One Tech Engineering

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Designer for a position located in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The Designer will be responsible for managing projects from concept through completion, including client communication, site evaluation, design development, approval coordination, and ensuring successful project execution.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have previous customer service or customer-facing experience.

Designer Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to gather detailed information, confirm specifications, and build strong working relationships.
• Perform site assessments as needed to evaluate conditions, take measurements, and inform design decisions.
• Develop designs and documentation that reflect client needs, site realities, and applicable standards.
• Present designs for internal and client review, make revisions as required, and secure approvals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors during construction to support quality control and ensure the final build aligns with the design.

Requirements of the Designer:

• Previous customer service or customer-facing experience.
• Experience with GIS, project management concepts, or power utility systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Strong technology skills.
• Must have a Valid driver's License.
