Desktop Support Technician at TEKsystems

*Overview:*
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support for end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues on desktops, laptops, and related equipment.
* Perform operating system and software upgrades on Windows-based devices.
* Diagnose and resolve issues with peripheral devices including printers, touchscreens, and keyboards, including installing and configuring print drivers.
* Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and system configurations.
* Collaborate with other IT staff to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
* Assist with hardware deployments, upgrades, and refresh projects as needed.
* Provide excellent customer service and technical support to end users.
*Required Skills & Qualifications:*
* 3-4 years of experience in desktop or technical support roles.
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting methodologies.
* Experience supporting and configuring peripheral devices such as printers and input devices.
* Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

This is a Contract position based out of Conshohocken, PA.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
