Desktop Support Technician
Contract to Hire
Onsite M-F in Baltimore MD


Skills:

  • Configure and deploy computers using tools such as Jamf Pro, MECM, and Ansible
  • Provide technical support to staff and partners both in-person, telephone, and through other collaboration tools.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot and repair computers, peripherals, printers, VOIP phones, software, and other equipment.
  • Assist with office moves for new and existing employees.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of A/V equipment and conference rooms, including resolving technical problems and assisting staff and partners with connecting to A/V systems .
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years work experience in a related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an interrupt driven environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift/move computer equipment up to 40 lbs.
  • Apple Certified Macintosh Technician Certification (Preferred)
