Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location:Charlotte,NC/Jerseycity,NJ/kennesaw,GA Work Arrangement:3days in Office (Onsite ) Client Industry: Banking Duration: 12 -18 months Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday About the Role We are hiring a DevOps Engineer Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues Research, plan, install, configure, and maintain systems and applications Troubleshoot infrastructure and perform root-cause analysis Support application deployments and production operations Monitor system performance and security Participate in Agile ceremonies and project work Automate tasks using scripting and CI/CD tools Stay current with emerging technologies, especially in AI and DevOps Must Haves: * Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills * Jenkins or other CI system *Cloud Engineering(cloud computing) experience with Openshift,AWS, Azure or GCP *Design and maintain CI/CD process and tools *Docker experience with Kubernetes container orchestration *Experience with yaml config management tools like Helm/Ansible *Setting up monitoring and alerts *Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended *Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues *Experience with Agile processes Additional Skills: Knowledge of emerging database technologies for AI applications Familiarity with containerization (OpenShift, Docker) Strong scripting skills (VB, Perl, Python, PowerShell, BASH) Experience with patching servers and hosted apps Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, SMTP, SNMP, DNS) Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Git, JIRA, Confluence) Experience with centralized logging tools (Splunk) Hourly Rate: 60$-65$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
