Diesel Mechanic Job Overview
Were seeking an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The right candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, as well as a thorough knowledge of various mechanical systems. This is a hands-on role focused on performing maintenance and repairs to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

Diesel Mechanic Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace components such as shocks, struts, air brakes, and other essential parts.
• Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Utilize welding techniques for repairs and modifications.
• Operate cranes and other equipment safely during repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.

Diesel Mechanic Skills

• Proficient in diagnosing issues with diesel engines and related systems.
• Experience with air brake systems and their maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Skilled in welding and fabrication techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to dig deep into mechanical issues.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Diesel Mechanic Compensation/Benefits:

• $23-$34/hr BOE
• Working mon thru fri 7 to 3:30
• Paid weekly
