Director of Biostatistics for Cancer Center Shared Resource, Associate/Full Professor, Cancer Center Imaging, Biomarker Discovery, and Engineering Sciences (IBES); and Lipid Signaling and Metabolism in Cancer (LSMC). Further, there are arching areas including a Translational Initiative in Population Sciences (TIPS), an expanding Clinical Trials Operation and an expanding Community Outreach and Engagement Effort. Experience in working with researchers across disciplines is considered to be of high value. Experience in leadership in the field by serving on regional and national committees is also important. The Director of Biostatistics will be expected to contribute to SBCC growth through research and scholarship and maintain active involvement in appropriate national or international organizations and bodies. In addition to Research contributions, the Director for the SBCC Biostatistics Shared Resource will have Administrative, Teaching and Service responsibilities. These responsibilities will include assisting in developing extramural grant applications in collaboration with cancer center investigators, including program-projects and other multi-project grants and providing expert Biostatistical guidance, mentoring and teaching within the Cancer Center and Family Population
