Position Title: Director of Nursing

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain standards of nursing practice across the facility
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Oversee and manage all nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
• Plan, organize, educate, supervise, and evaluate all nursing services provided
• Verify that department staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
• Monitor departmental operations to ensure consistent budget adherence
• Maintain expertise in state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare, and Medicaid

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Director of Nursing experience preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge of long-term care regulations at both state and federal levels
• Demonstrated experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and state survey protocols
