Job SummaryThis position includes the following responsibilities:
Coordinate On-Campus Recruiting Events (30%)
- Will assist the Recruiting Coordinator in organizing and managing all on-campus recruiting events, including official visits, tours, and informational sessions for prospective student-athletes and their families.
 - Schedule meetings with coaches, faculty, and staff.
 - Oversee logistics for campus tours, meals, and recruiting presentations.
 - Lead prospective student-athletes on campus tours, highlighting key facilities, athletic spaces, and the general student experience at the university.
 - Provide insights on academic programs, student life, and athletic resources.
 
Recruitment Communication (20%)
- Serve as a key point of contact between the coaching staff and prospective student-athletes, managing communication via email, phone calls, and social media platforms.
 - Ensure timely responses to inquiries.
 - Facilitate clear, consistent communication with recruits and their families.
 
Data Management and Recruiting Database Maintenance (15%)
- Maintain and update the ARMS recruitment database, ensuring all recruiting information is current and accurate for the football program.
 - Maintain all NCAA, UAC, AND UWG rules.
 - Work closely with the Admissions office and compliance staff to ensure all recruiting efforts adhere to NCAA rules and university guidelines.
 
Social Media Engagement (15%)
- Assist in the management of the football team¿s recruiting social media accounts, helping promote the program to prospective recruits.
 - Develop content related to on-campus life, recruiting news, and football team highlights.
 - Maintain a positive online presence for the football program.
 - Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the distribution of materials to recruits.
 
Assist the Director of Football Operations in maintaining the day-to-day operation of the football program. (15%)

Required QualificationsTo be considered for a graduate assistantship at the University of West Georgia (UWG), students must meet the following criteria:
- Be fully admitted to a graduate degree program at UWG. Please note: Students admitted provisionally are not eligible for assistantship positions.
 - Hold a Bachelor¿s degree from an accredited institution.
 - Be enrolled full-time in a UWG graduate program during the assistantship period.
 - Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all previous and current graduate coursework.
 - Meet eligibility requirements for employment in the United States.
 
- Enrolled in the College of Education, Sport Management Master's Program
