Director of Plumbing and Sewer

Join our team as the Director of Plumbing and Sewer, where you will lead and innovate in the design, implementation, and maintain the directive in our plumbing departments. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the implementation of plumbing into our existing HVAC companies.

You will develop and train a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Your expertise will drive strategic planning and operational excellence in our plumbing and sewer operations, contributing to the well-being and growth of our community.

Job Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee all plumbing and sewer operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Develop and implement strategic plans for plumbing and sewer system improvements and expansions.

- Manage and mentor a team of plumbing and sewer professionals, ensuring high performance and professional development.

- Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of plumbing and sewer systems with other infrastructure projects.

- Conduct regular assessments and audits of plumbing and sewer systems to identify areas for improvement by working on site at each location to ensure they are successful.

- Oversee budgeting and financial management of plumbing and sewer projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

- Ensure timely response and resolution to plumbing and sewer emergencies and service disruptions.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of services and materials.

- Develop and enforce SOPs, safety protocols, and procedures.

- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance operations and service delivery.

- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status and performance of plumbing and sewer systems.

Job Requirements

- Previous experience in implementing plumbing into other tradelines.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in plumbing and sewer management.

- Proven leadership experience in a director or senior management role.

- Extensive knowledge of plumbing and sewer systems, codes, and regulations.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

-Critical strategic thinking skills.

- Proficient in budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to liaise with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders.

- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant technology.

- Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmentally friendly plumbing technologies.

- Valid plumbing license or certification is preferred.

- Ability to travel as required for project oversight and coordination.

- Strong focus on safety and compliance with occupational health standards.

-Previous consultant experience for start-ups.

-A minimum of 50% travel will be necessary throughout SC,GA,AL,NC,TN.

Compensation details: 140000-210000 Yearly Salary
