Director of Restaurants at See No Evil Pizza
Job Description
About Us
We operate three distinct, award-winning hospitality concepts that are located next to each other in Manhattan

- Tiny Dancer Coffee – Milan-inspired walk-up espresso bar bringing European café culture to New York
We're a hospitality group built on exceptional service, attention to detail, and creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.
The Role
We're seeking a General Manager | Director of Operations to oversee daily operations across all three concepts. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who lives and breathes hospitality. You'll be responsible for maintaining our high standards of service, leading our teams, and ensuring each venue runs like a well-oiled machine while delivering the kind of experience that earns Michelin recognition and industry awards.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations across all three venues, ensuring consistency in service excellence and brand standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop FOH and BOH management teams across concepts
- Create and maintain operational systems that drive efficiency without sacrificing the guest experience
- Integrate systems across all locations and hold teams accountable to standards, processes, and performance metrics
- Be present on the floor regularly—this isn't a desk job; you need to see the show and be part of it
- Work with the Managing Partner and Executive Chef on strategic planning, and new initiatives
- Manage scheduling, labor costs, and operational budgets across all locations
- Handle all event inquiries and activations, from initial contact through execution and follow-up, ensuring flawless execution from sales through delivery
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements
- Handle escalated guest situations with grace and turn problems into opportunities
- Drive training programs that elevate service standards and team culture
- Monitor inventory systems, vendor relationships, and supply chain efficiency
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements based on data
Who You Are
- Service-obsessed: You understand that hospitality is about making people feel something, not just serving them something
- A natural leader: Your teams respect you because you lead by example, roll up your sleeves, and genuinely care about their growth
- Highly organized: You can juggle multiple locations, competing priorities, and unexpected challenges without dropping the ball
- Efficient with your time: You know how to prioritize, delegate, and move quickly without cutting corners
- A showman: You understand that restaurants are theater—you know how to create atmosphere, energy, and moments that guests remember
- Detail-oriented: Nothing slips past you, from a smudged glass to a training gap to a menu misfire
- Calm under pressure: You thrive in the controlled chaos of busy service and can make decisions quickly
- Collaborative: You work seamlessly with ownership and the team to execute the vision
Requirements
- 3+ years of multi-unit restaurant or hospitality management experience
- Proven event production experience, including private dining, buyouts, corporate events, and special occasions
- Proven track record of leading teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong wine knowledge is essential—you should be comfortable curating wine lists, training staff, and making recommendations that enhance the guest experience
- Experience with upscale dining, craft cocktail programs, or award-winning concepts preferred
- Strong financial acumen—you can read a P&L and understand how operations impact the bottom line
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- NYC Food Protection Certificate (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Passion for hospitality, food, coffee, and cocktail culture
What We Offer
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Opportunity to shape the future of a growing hospitality group
- Work with a Michelin-recognized team and award-winning bar program
- Be part of new concept development and expansion
- A culture that values creativity, excellence, and taking care of our people
