Job Description
St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college, is seeking a hard-working and dependable Dish Room Worker to join our team at Ruth's Marketplace. This role is primarily responsible for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing china, flatware, pots, pans, and utensils as part of a team environment. Additional responsibilities include restocking clean dishware, cleaning the dish room, and routine cleaning of equipment.
The hours are Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm during the academic year. This position doesn't work during the summer months.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years of experience in an institutional or retail food service industry
Ability to interact professionally with coworkers and customers, particularly in conflict situations.
Ability to concentrate and focus in a noisy, damp, warm, fast-paced environment.
