Purpose of the Position:

This position supports kitchen operations by keeping the dish room clean, washing dishes, and replenishing clean dishware.

Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.
Knowledge of the operation of commercial dish machine.
Ability to stand for long periods where wet processes are used.
Ability to work in congested work areas.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Ability to wear protective footwear.

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required :

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma.

Additional Consideration(s):

Experience:

Experience working in the food service industry with dish washer responsibilities.
Experience in the operation of a commercial dish machine.
Experience with workplace safety procedures.
Experience with sanitation procedures.

Starting at $15.00 per hour, Commensurate with Education and Experience

Conditions of Employment:

This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period.
Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-Day New Employee Orientation Program.
Ability to stand for long periods where wet processes are used.
Ability to work in congested work areas.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
