Purpose of the Position:This position supports kitchen operations by keeping the dish room clean, washing dishes, and replenishing clean dishware.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position:- Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.
- Knowledge of the operation of commercial dish machine.
- Ability to stand for long periods where wet processes are used.
- Ability to work in congested work areas.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- Ability to wear protective footwear.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma.
Experience:
- Experience working in the food service industry with dish washer responsibilities.
- Experience in the operation of a commercial dish machine.
- Experience with workplace safety procedures.
- Experience with sanitation procedures.

Salary Information:Starting at $15.00 per hour, Commensurate with Education and Experience
Conditions of Employment:- This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period.
- Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-Day New Employee Orientation Program.
