Eggslut is hiring! We're growing our team and are looking for a part-time Dish/Prep for our location at Venice Beach.

OBJECTIVE

The Dishwasher is responsible for washing the appropriate utensils, cookware, etc and preparing food served at the restaurant. Their main focus is to maintain standards, a clean, safe kitchen and follow all Eggslut procedures (recipes, cooking instructions, etc.) according to local Health Department standards. Overall, their job is to efficiently work prep and dish stations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

The ability to speak, see, hear, read, and write - mobility and manual dexterity

The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction

The ability to bend, crouch, stand, and perform movement for up to 8-10 hours a day

Exposure to wet floors, noise, and temperature extremes

Must be able to perform in a fast paced, busy environment with attention to detail

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Wash utensils, cutlery, cookware, containers, etc.

Keep the line stocked w/ smallwares throughout service

Retrieve & clean bus tubs w/ dirty dishes

Take out trash & recycling throughout day

Assist w/ prep lists when not washing dishes

Assist in line work if needed

Maintain a clean and organized work station

Assist in ensuring the highest standards for product

Assist in ensuring proper recipe adherence

Maintain a high level of communication with management
