Dishwasher at Hotel Sutter

We need a hardworking person who can get in and help with a variety of kitchen tasks. In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. Responsibilities:

• Mop and clean kitchen floors daily to keep the workplace neat and sanitary
• Keep track of dishwashing machine mechanical defects while also maintaining accurate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies
• Rinse glassware, scrape plates, and sort dishes before loading them into the dishwasher
• Unload the dishwashing machine and place utensils and dishes in appropriate storage areas
• Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
• Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
• Great physical health and stamina
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification

Hotel Sutter is a historical building located in the heart of downtown Sutter Creek. We have a restaurant serving indoors, on our balcony, as well as out front on our Pallet Cafe. We have 2 bars, one located in our lobby and another downstairs known as our Copper Room. We also have a fully functioning 21-room hotel on our 2nd and 3rd floors.
