Position Summary

The Dishwasher will ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean, sanitize and prepared.

Essential Functions

• Receives merchandise from all vendors, checks for expiration dates, dented cans, or damaged products.
• Checks order for accuracy and store as needed in dry, refrigerator or freezer, as necessary.
• Rotate merchandise according to the FIFO rule.
• Dishwashers work to take on some janitorial and supportive kitchen tasks, such as tables, washing pot
• and pans and appliances, emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, restocking items, and
• performing other tasks to ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and prepared for
• students.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen clean after production has ended.
• Communicates with Kitchen Supervisor about how to improve meal service.
• Cleans food preparation areas as determined by company policies and Health Department
• Regulations.
• Clean and sanitize working area before start work and after finishing work.
• Be flexible with the schedule for any unforeseen emergencies/circumstances.

Education and Experience
