We are seeking a highly capable individual for a dynamic front desk role at our busy doggy daycare facility. This position encompasses responsibilities in both daycare operations and front desk management. Initial training will focus on daycare activities to familiarize you with all the dogs, followed by comprehensive front desk instruction. The role is fast paced, requiring frequent movement and minimal sitting. Duties include answering phones, managing client check-ins and check-outs, mastering our Gingr software, handling laundry, and ensuring daycare attendants are adequately supplied.

Our facility accommodates an average of over 100 dogs daily. As a daycare attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment by actively managing the daycare yard, ensuring cleanliness, and engaging dogs through energetic activities such as playing with balls. Since our operations are indoors, strict adherence to cleanliness standards is essential to preserve a spotless atmosphere. Daycare attendants must be prepared to promptly and confidently separate dogs when necessary. A genuine passion for working with dogs is required; we seek individuals who are committed to enhancing the wellbeing of our canine guests rather than those simply seeking employment.

This position requires flexibility in work schedules. While we aim to provide each team member with a consistent schedule, occasional changes may occur due to operational needs. We strive to release the schedule two weeks in advance so that employees have the opportunity to submit time-off requests. Please note that time off cannot always be guaranteed, especially if another employee has already requested the same day. Availability during holidays and weekends is essential, as these periods are particularly busy. All staff members are scheduled to work on holidays; however, we make every effort to ensure you have time with your family during these occasions, with a minimum expectation of working at least four hours on a holiday.

Training begins at $18.00 per hour, increasing to $20.00 after completion. Cross-training can accelerate pay increases; most employees earn $23.00 per hour within 6 to 12 months if they excel in both roles. Pay is based on performance, not tenure.
