Dry Dock Pipe Fitters at CCS Construction Staffing

???????CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced Pipe Fitters for a long-term dry dock ship build project at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City Beach, FL. This high-profile federal project will last over a year and offers excellent stability, paid travel, and free housing for qualified tradesmen.

Applicants must have verifiable experience as a Pipe Fitter in shipbuilding, industrial, or marine environments. CCS does not hire helpers or anyone without related trade experience. All applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to meet military base access requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of pipe fitting experience in shipyard, industrial, or marine construction

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, ISO drawings, and schematics

• Experience installing, fabricating, and modifying carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper-nickel piping systems

• Skilled in cutting, beveling, and prepping pipe using torches, grinders, and power tools

• Ability to fit and align pipe accurately for tack and weld operations

• Familiarity with pipe hangers, supports, and pressure testing procedures

• Comfortable working in confined spaces and elevated areas

• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills

• Ship fitting experience is a plus

Project and Travel Details:
