About the Role:

We are seeking a driven, compassionate, and fearless DUI & Criminal Defense Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate thrives in the courtroom, genuinely cares about helping people, and embraces a client-first mindset. You’ll handle DUI, traffic, and related criminal defense cases from start to finish — managing client relationships, conducting hearings and trials, and ensuring every client feels heard, supported, and well-represented.

We take pride in being the best at what we do inside the courtroom, but we know that is only half the job – we walk clients step-by-step through the process from arrest to disposition with a client-centered approach. This is not a job for the faint of heart. It is for an attorney who wants to be in court every day, standing up for people who truly need someone in their corner. It is for an attorney who wants to listen to people going through hard times in their lives and help those people come out on the other side.

Location: We have two offices – Rolling Meadows and Wheaton; this position would be responsible for handling cases primarily in DuPage County, with a small case load in Cook and Kane County, as well.

Compensation & Benefits:

$85,000 - $115,000 yearly

• Represent clients facing DUI, criminal, and traffic offenses in DuPage and Cook counties.
• Be comfortable conducting hearings and trials, engaging in negotiations with prosecutors, and participating in conferences with prosecutors and judges in court on a regular basis.
• Provide compassionate guidance while maintaining strong advocacy in and out of court.
• Maintain a client-first approach and ensure each case receives the attention it deserves to reach the best possible result for each client.
• Manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency, ensuring deadlines are met and client communication remains a top priority.
• Work collaboratively with our team of attorneys, legal assistants, and client engagement staff.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active Illinois law license in good standing.
• Minimum 1-3 years as a practicing attorney, with preferred experience in criminal defense or criminal prosecution.
• Strong courtroom presence and excellent communication skills.
• Strong skills in research, writing, and negotiation are essential.
• Genuine desire to help people through difficult, life-changing situations.
• Must be adaptable and able to respond quickly to changing circumstances.
