Experienced Electrical Apprentice needed. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Commercial or Service Work.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Follow instructions and support licensed electricians in their daily tasks.
- Prepare Work Areas: Clean and organize job sites for electrical work.
- Material Handling: Carry and deliver necessary electrical components, tools, and equipment to the work location.
- Installation & Repair: Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, conduits, lighting, and other systems.
- Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and repair electrical issues.
- Tool & Equipment Use: Learn to safely use hand tools and operate electrical test equipment.
- Safety & Code Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, electrical codes, and building regulations.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Skills & Knowledge Acquired
- Hands-on experience with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency in various electrical wiring, testing, and maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and how to apply them.
- Familiarity with electrical safety protocols and equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
