Key Responsibilities & Duties

Assist Journeyman Electricians: Follow instructions and support licensed electricians in their daily tasks.
Prepare Work Areas: Clean and organize job sites for electrical work.
Material Handling: Carry and deliver necessary electrical components, tools, and equipment to the work location.
Installation & Repair: Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, conduits, lighting, and other systems.
Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Tool & Equipment Use: Learn to safely use hand tools and operate electrical test equipment.
Safety & Code Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, electrical codes, and building regulations.
Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

Skills & Knowledge Acquired

Hands-on experience with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
Proficiency in various electrical wiring, testing, and maintenance techniques.
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and how to apply them.
Familiarity with electrical safety protocols and equipment.
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
