Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer P.E.
Location: Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ
Salary:$90K-$135K (salary depends on experience)   

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer P.E. to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and new construction projects
  • Prepare detailed electrical design documents including specifications, calculations, and drawings
  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and electrical layout designs
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver integrated project solutions
  • Perform load calculations and develop power distribution systems for medium and high voltage applications
  • Stay updated on the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 99 standards to ensure compliance
  • Review and approve project submittals and shop drawings
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in electrical design and engineering
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with CADmep is a plus
  • Familiarity with SKM, EasyPower, ETAP, and other electrical analysis software
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NEC and NFPA 99
  • Experience with medium voltage, low voltage, and high voltage systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
