This position is responsible for designing and laying out medium voltage electrical systems for industrial applications. Duties include creating electrical one-line diagrams, selecting appropriate equipment and components, and generating bills of materials (BOMs) for procurement and construction. What’s a Typical Day Like? · Design and layout medium voltage electrical systems for industrial applications. · Create electrical one-line diagrams and related design documentation. · Select appropriate electrical equipment and components to meet project specifications. · Generate bills of materials (BOMs) for procurement and construction. · Coordinate with mechanical, piping, and HVAC teams to ensure system integration. · Review and verify technical drawings, calculations, and design compliance with industry standards. · Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. · Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, safety requirements, and company standards. What Are the Requirements of the Job? · Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. · Proven experience in electrical system design, preferably in industrial environments. · Strong knowledge of medium voltage systems, equipment selection, and load calculations. · Proficiency with CAD software and electrical design tools. · Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. · Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams · Ability to work in fast-paced environment. · Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs. · Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel. · Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination. · Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time · Minimum 5-7 years’ experience
