Job Details

As an Electrical Estimator with us, you will be responsible for accurately preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial electrical projects, helping shape project budgets and bid strategies. This role requires a keen understanding of electrical systems, materials, labor costs, and industry standards. Your estimates will directly impact project success, working closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and related technical documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to gather pricing data and labor costs.
• Prepare detailed bid packages and budgets to support business development and project planning.
• Maintain comprehensive records of estimates and assist in post-bid analysis and revisions.
• Stay current with industry trends, pricing changes, and new materials or technologies.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and leadership to align estimates with project goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial electrical estimating.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction practices.
• Proficiency with estimating software and industry-standard tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for cost evaluation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
