Position Summary:

The Industrial Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading electrical crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems. This position oversees daily field operations, ensures work meets safety and quality standards, coordinates with project management, and supports schedule adherence for industrial construction and maintenance projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead electrical crews on industrial construction and maintenance projects.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to ensure proper installation.
  • Oversee installation of conduit, cable trays, wiring, terminations, and control panels.
  • Enforce compliance with company safety programs, OSHA regulations, and client requirements.
  • Conduct jobsite inspections to verify work quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, general foremen, and other trade leads.
  • Train and mentor journeyman and apprentice electricians.
  • Track material usage, report progress, and assist with manpower planning.
  • Support start-up, testing, and commissioning activities as required.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, including 2+ years in a foreman or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of industrial power distribution, motor controls, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical documents.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in power plants, manufacturing, or heavy industrial facilities.
  • Proficiency with conduit bending, terminations, and control wiring.
  • NCCER or Journeyman certification preferred.


Work Environment:

  • Industrial jobsite setting; exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work from elevated positions as required.
  • Regular travel to project sites within the region may be required.
