Electrical Journeyman at Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS)

New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Commercial Electrical Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings, with a strong understanding of electrical codes and schematics.

Essential Duties:
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams
• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Supervise and guide apprentices or helpers on job sites
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols on job sites

Requirements/Skills:
• Must have a valid New Orleans Class D Electricians License
• Commercial electrical experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and building codes
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
• Good physical condition and ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Work on commercial construction sites (indoor/outdoor)
• Use of ladders, lifts, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks
