Essential Functions

Summary:
The Electrical Panel Assembler plays a vital role in assembling and wiring mechanical and electrical components for backup power systems. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this position involves interpreting schematics and specifications to install electrical raceways, conduit, wire ways, and cable ways. This hands-on role ensures the safe and efficient build of high-quality electrical panels that support critical power infrastructure.

Accountabilities:

Assemble and wire mechanical and electrical components per instructions, specifications, and schematics.
Layout and install electrical raceways, conduit, wire ways, and cable ways.
Interpret and follow electrical schematics and layout drawings.
Coordinate with team members, lead supervisors, and management to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
Report safety hazards and near misses to promote a safe workplace.
Support continuous improvement efforts and suggest process enhancements.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the electrical assembly team.

Required Knowledge/Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.
13 years of experience in an industrial or construction setting.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in electrical panel assembly.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. (Preferred)
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. (Preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and safety standards.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Primarily based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions.
Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, or crouch for 810 hours per day.
Frequent use of hands to handle tools and components.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs (following OSHA standards).
Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
