Essential Responsibilities:

·         Planning the layout of electrical systems.

·         Reading and interpreting electrical, architectural and mechanical diagrams, drawings and specifications.

·         Installing electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial properties.

·         Performing maintenance work on electrical systems and equipment.

·         Conducting fault finding, testing, repair and maintenance work on electrical equipment. Quote and sell to customer.

·         Connecting electrical equipment and appliances.

·         Install and maintenance of electrical generators.

·         Identify and diagnose electrical problems using diagnostic tools, then repair or replace faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures.

·         Identify and diagnose electrical problems using diagnostic tools, then repair or replace faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures.

·         Identify and diagnose electrical problems using diagnostic tools, then repair or replace faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures.

·         Gain approval with client for scheduling of project and/or completion on site and adherence to company pricing and quoting policies.

Essential Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years as an electrician with trouble shooting experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including understanding of how they work and how to interpret schematics. Excellent knowledge of national and local electrical codes.
• Excellent customer service skills and selling skills are required.
• Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and teamwork.
• A focus on providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns.
• Meticulousness in following procedures, reading diagrams, and performing tasks accurately.
• Manual dexterity for handling tools and physical strength for tasks that may involve bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Clean Driver’s license for operating company vehicles.
