Electrical Service Technician at A-American Electric

We are looking for a highly motivated, problem solver who works well either by themselves or on a team of two. High customer service skills are a must.

A service electrician repairs electrical equipment and systems in residential and commercial settings. As a service electrician, you troubleshoot electrical problems and install new wiring or other components to fix lighting, fuse boxes, and generators. Your job duties include inspecting and testing electrical components to diagnose problems, repairing broken electrical components, and installing updates for outdated electrical systems. You may work independently or with a partner, and you typically drive a truck or van with tools and materials to each job site.

Persons applying for this position should be able to handle many facets of electrical work. Applicants shall be able to complete projects on their own with some or little assistance from a Project Manager.

Experience in service calls.

Experience leading crew members preferred.

NC Limited license (minimum) or Asheville Journeyman's card preferred.

OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $34.00 per hour POE
