Hiring Experienced Commercial Electricians, Licensed journeymen, mechanic's, electrical Helpers/Apprentices for New Commercial & Industrial work in Broward, Miami and Palm Beach County area and throughout the state of Florida. This position is responsible for providing professional installation, per design plans of new and electrical systems and components.\r\rSeeking to full fill positions for the following.\r\r- Hiring Electrical Project managers\r\r- Electrical Foreman \r\r- Electrical Mechanics,\r\r- Electrical Apprentices/Helpers\r\r- Service/Maintenance Electricians\r\rResponsibilities\r\rExecute plans of electrical layout, New service branch services and grounding, rough-in and trim out for lighting, lighting controls switch and LV controls dimming ..etc.,, electrical devices, and other electrical systems\rMust have foresight on job, including planning ahead and identify issues in advance.\rMust be able to write and schedule through material lists for job/jobs in advance.\rInstall electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems\rInstall safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)\rConnect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components\rPrepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them\rPrevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.\rPerform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units\rMust have DL and be able to read and write.\rMust have NEC Code book and Electrical tradesmen's tools.\rMust be able to arrive to job site as scheduled.\rMeet management performance and skill set expectations.\rSkills\r\rProven experience as an electrician\rMust be able to read and install based upon electrical plans, elevations, details and RCP, make written conduit layouts, circuit schedules and keep as-built records\rExperience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems\rThorough knowledge of electrical safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines (lock out tag out, and temp power safety).\rBe responsible and take Responsibility (Seeking advancement and recognition by Merritt of performance, accomplishment and leadership).\rExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability\rExcellent physical condition and flexibility.\rDiploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician or other college degree or courses a plus.\r\rCompany Description\r\rWe are a Statewide Commercial & Industrial Electrical Contractor \r\rWork is located throughout Florida, with travel assignments required as needed.
