Job Title: Electrical Superintendent
Location: Sherman, TX
Pay: $110,000 – $130,000 per year
License Required: Texas Licensed Journeyman Electrician
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee a commercial construction project in Sherman, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical work, proven leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of project schedules, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan installation and construction activities
- Enforce job site safety policies and procedures
- Manage daily field reports, material tracking, and crew schedules
- Inspect installations to ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards
- Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman electricians
Qualifications:
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)
- 5+ years of electrical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent role
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
