Electrician

Full-Time | 1st Shift – 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday (On-Call Rotation Required)

Location – Hartford City, Indiana

Aegis Worldwide is seeking an Electrician to join a manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a fast-paced, industrial environment. The Electrician will work with voltages up to and beyond 480V, ensure system reliability, and support production by minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and circuits

• Work with schematics, meters, meggers, power analyzers, and other test equipment

• Install and service motors, starters, breakers, transformers, and electrical panels

• Troubleshoot and edit PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)

• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on equipment

• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on projects and new equipment installation

• Assist with mechanical tasks as needed to support production uptime

• Maintain compliance with safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations

• Participate in rotating on-call schedule and support after-hours needs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial electrician experience required (manufacturing background only)

• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and 3-phase motors

• Experience working with voltages up to and beyond 480V

• Ability to troubleshoot and edit PLCs

• Skilled in reading schematics and working with test equipment

• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and accountability

• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled, true industrial environment

• Willingness to work overtime and rotating on-call schedule
