Industrial Electrician

$25-31/hr | Monday - Friday | 6:30AM - 4:00PM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Electrician to join our team supporting the design and build of custom-engineered equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, thrives in dynamic environments, and takes pride in hands-on electrical work that directly contributes to innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical systems for custom machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to integrate electrical components into mechanical builds.
  • Perform testing, calibration, and quality checks on control systems and electrical assemblies.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in accordance with safety and operational standards.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of control systems and automation solutions.
  • Support field installations and service work as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Electrical, Wiring, Troubleshooting, Blueprint, Schematic
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in electrical systems preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial or equipment-related electrical work.
  • Strong understanding of AC/DC systems, motor controls, relays, and PLCs.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering documentation.
  • Experience with panel building, conduit bending, and wiring best practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gretna, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
