Electrician at Back Cove Yachts

Back Cove Yachts is a leading manufacturer in building Downeast style motor yachts, based in Rockland, Maine since 1970. Sabre has exceptional world-class craftsmen and women in the boat building industry who craft beautiful luxury yachts.

Back Cove is currently hiring electricians.

Electrician Description:

We are looking for a qualified year-round full-time electrician. This successful candidate will have a good knowledge of AC/DC systems. This position requires reading and following boat specs, along with comprehending simple instructions and mathematics skills.

Electrician Responsibilities:

· Read and follow electrical blueprints

· Good knowledge of AC/DC systems

· Pulling and running wire

· Wiring all electrical components (lighting systems, switches, breakers, navigation, etc)

· Good knowledge of C-Zone and networked electronic systems

· Troubleshooting electrical issues

· Safe handling of chemicals

Electrician Requirements:

· Excellent understanding of electrical systems and components

· Mathematical proficiency

· Experience in using hand tools

· Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

· Ability to work in small spaces

· Pre-employment physical and background check
