Job Title: Electrician

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay: $36 per hour

Hours: 40–50 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Bend, cut, thread, and install EMT conduit (½" to 1") using hand and mechanical benders.
  • Pull wire and cable through conduit and electrical raceways.
  • Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting systems.
  • Test electrical systems using multimeters and circuit testers to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Adhere to local and national electrical codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to complete projects on time.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state-issued journeyman or master electrician license (if required by location).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a commercial electrician.
  • Proficient in bending and installing EMT conduit (½" to 1") to meet precise specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work from ladders and lifts, and perform physical labor.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
