Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems, components, and fixtures
- Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions
- Run wiring for outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical systems
- Upgrade and replace electrical panels, breakers, and circuits as needed
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners regarding work performed, recommendations and possible appropriate upselling
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of residential (service) electrical experience
- Understanding of NEC and residential wiring systems
- Sales experience (offering solutions) preferred
- Ability to work in attics, basements, etc.
