Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Ocean City, MD. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $35/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:
- • Perform electrical installation work on a water tower project, including conduit runs, wiring, and lighting systems in compliance with NEC and project specifications
- Install and bend galvanized rigid steel conduit (RGS) with appropriate fittings, supports, and weatherproofing for all penetrations and enclosures
- Route conduits for power, lighting, control, and grounding systems as shown on construction drawings
- Pull, terminate, and label conductors for all electrical systems; conduct insulation resistance (megger) and continuity testing prior to energizing circuits
- Install and secure tower-mounted and site lighting fixtures (obstruction, access, and platform lights), ensuring proper grounding, bonding, and weatherproof connections
- Verify lighting operation, alignment, and overall system performance upon completion
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- 3+ years of electrical installation experience, preferably with industrial or tower projects
- Proficient in rigid conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, and testing
- Familiar with NEC standards and capable of reading and interpreting electrical drawings
- Must have reliable transportation, proper tools, and the ability to work safely at heights
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
