Electrician/Site Manager (Facilities Maintenance) – Richland/Tri Cities WA
Federal O&M Contractor seeking Site Manager with strong background in Electrical and HVAC for facilities maintenance in Richland/Tri-Cities area. Must have 06B and/or 07 Electrical Lic. CFC Certification is preferred but not required. Must have 5 yrs recent exp. in commercial or industrial electrical, mechanical, structural & architectural maintenance services in commercial facilities. HVAC Journeyman/Boiler Lic & EMS knowledge a plus. Must possess good administrative skills and ability to communicate well with constituents, be self-motivated, conscientious, hardworking & honest. Must be able to pass security background check. Position is Full-Time permanent.
Required Licenses: 06B and/or 07 Electrical Lic & CFC Certification.
Details: This position is part of a Federal Service Contract Act policy; benefits are determined based on location of position. SCA provides an ‘earned’ Fringe Benefit (currently $4.93) that is used to provide Insurances if elected; if the premiums do not utilize the full earned value the remainder is contributed to the company 401K on the employee’s behalf. If insurance is waived the full earned benefit value will be contributed to our company 401K plan with 100% vested value as of first contribution.

An Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
