Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic maintenance PM team responsible for the upkeep and functionality of machinery across all five plants in our expansive complex. Your role will involve completing preventive maintenance on equipment, addressing breakdowns through reactive maintenance, supporting production teams, and focusing on machine reliability to minimize downtime. You will also utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking preventive maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Complete preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  • Perform reactive maintenance as breakdowns occur.
  • Support production teams by ensuring equipment reliability.
  • Utilize CMMS for tracking preventive maintenance activities.
  • Focus on reducing machine downtime and enhancing reliability.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Strong understanding of 480v motors and multimeter usage.
  • Experience with gears, sprockets, pumps, rollers, and gearboxes.
  • Skilled in PLC troubleshooting and relay logic.
  • Knowledge of 480v, 24v, 110v systems, and AC/DC drives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical theory, Ohm's Law, Watt's Law, and related principles.
  • Eight years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong electrical background.
  • Experience in metal rolling and metal stamping.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial, clean, and large complex. Training hours are Monday to Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks, working 40-45 hours a week. Post-training, transition to a 2-2-3 day shift schedule, with one Saturday shift per month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
