Job Description

Job Responsibilities

To teach didactic and laboratory College level Engineering Technology & Electrical/Electronics Technology courses including PLTW (Project Lead The Way) courses. Provides leadership, management, planning and coordination with instruction of students, student enrollment and advisement, student recruiting and retention, marketing and the provision of services to the College and community. Includes curriculum and instructional development, assessment functions to include program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes. Advise and support transfer programs.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Faculty teaching Associate Degree courses not designed for transfer to a baccalaureate degree: Bachelor’s Degree in the teaching discipline, or Associate’s degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline. Master's degree and five years experience in the field preferred. Teaching experience at the community or technical college level preferred.
