Electronics Assembler - Entry-Level at Ateq Corporation

Vacuum Instruments Corporation has an opening for an Entry-Level Electonics Assembler, based out of our Ronkonkoma, NY corporate headquarters location.

The Entry-Level Electronics Assembler will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools

- Layout and mount electrical components on panel

- Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring

- Accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions

- Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment to such as multi-meters, ammeters, to troubleshoot and repair equipment

Position Requirements:

- Must live on Long Island

- Must maintain the legal right to work in the US

- Must have a clean background

- Must be experienced with wire stripping tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills

- Must have an Electrical Mechanical aptitude

- Must be able to build control panels

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions

- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent trade school

- Read and understand electrical schematics preferred

- Ability to communicate, read and understand both oral and written instructions in English

- Skills: Basic computer skills, and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools

- Must be able and willing to work overtime and weekends as required

- Must have 2+ years of Electrical/Mechanical experience

- Ability to effectively communicate and work well with team members
