Overview

Element has an opportunity for a EMC Compliance Engineer who can apply engineering problem solving skills to evaluate wireless devices for global Regulatory compliance involving EMC/RF Testing for wireless consumer technologies in a fast-paced environment and industry. Performs testing of the latest cellular (4G/5G) and unlicensed (WIFI/BT/etc.) technologies to determine FCC (US) and ISED (Canada), and other global regulatory body compliance.

Salary: $38-42/hr

Responsibilities

    Performs and analyze EMC/RF and RF exposure compliance testing and evaluations per regulatory specifications
  • Compiling and reporting test results using MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Evaluate devices and determine applicable standards
  • Interface and communicate with clients and engineering teams in a technical and professional manner
  • Work in a team environment and assist in development and improvement of test methodologies, reporting, coordination of various tasks, etc
  • Coordinating and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree or commensurate with experience
  • Must be customer-focused, organized, good communication skills, fast learner, team player, and detail-oriented
  • Wireless/EMC/RF/Laboratory environment experience preferred
