Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 5–7 years (ONLY) of experience in employment litigation and counseling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background representing employers in all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour matters, and compliance counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all phases of employment litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Advise clients on employment-related issues such as compliance, workplace policies, and risk mitigation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda in state and federal courts.
Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective litigation and counseling strategies.
Qualifications:
5–7 years (ONLY) of experience in employment litigation and counseling.
Admission to the New York Bar is required.
New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and client service abilities.
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
