Enrollment Services Assistant

Admissions

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is looking to recruit an Enrollment Services Assistant. This position is responsible for reviewing and processing academic and non-academic documents for the purpose of admission to Georgia State University.

Examples of duties include:

·       Verifies and manually enters data of incoming applications and documents for undergraduates and verifies applications that are submitted electronically.

·       Reviewing data downloaded into Slate and Banner for accuracy and completeness.

·       Enter and review high school and college course transcript information to include SAT/ACT, Accuplacer, CLEP, AP, IB, TOEFL or GSTEP scores to determine admissibility of First-Year applicants, calculating cumulative GPAs per college transcripts and international credential evaluation report to determine admissibility of transfer applicants.

·       Providing customer service, internal and external, and resolving issues related to assigned area of processing.



Qualifications

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications: 

·       Knowledge of Board of Regents policies regarding Admissions

·       Previous data entry experience

·       Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

·       Experience with Banner or Slate are a plus
