We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to join the State of South Carolina's Department of Commerce (SCCOMMERCE) as an Enterprise Project Manager and CRM Consultant. This is a critical role focused on maximizing the effectiveness of CRM software to achieve organizational goals. What You'll Do (Primary Responsibilities) As a CRM Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assessing needs, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring successful CRM implementation and adoption: Needs Assessment & Strategy: Evaluate business needs, workflows, and customer engagement processes to identify key CRM requirements and improvement opportunities. Solution Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement robust CRM systems that align with the organization’s strategic goals and operational structure. Process Optimization: Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive training materials to ensure high staff adoption and consistent CRM usage. Performance Monitoring: Create and execute CRM strategies to improve customer relationships, data management, and overall business productivity. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure CRM tools fully support their objectives. Reporting & Insights: Monitor and analyze CRM system performance, preparing detailed reports and insights for leadership and stakeholders on CRM performance, user adoption, and ROI. Innovation & Vendor Management: Stay current on CRM technology trends, recommend improvements, and assist with CRM vendor selection and evaluation processes. Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves) Proven experience implementing and managing CRM platforms, ideally across multiple industries. Hands-on expertise with both Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce CRM. Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and customer service best practices. Knowledge of software selection methodologies and CRM integration strategies. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating business requirements into functional CRM solutions. Candidate MUST be a South Carolina resident. Preferred Qualifications (A Plus) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant CRM certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Consultant, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant). Compensation & Logistics Job Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension. Work Arrangement:Hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week in Columbia, SC. Interview Process: One virtual round (video required). Relocation: Not permitted. Candidates must be current SC residents.
