The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience advising clients on environmental, land use, and real estate matters, with a strong command of Massachusetts environmental law and local permitting processes. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to complex regulatory and transactional work.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on land use, zoning, and environmental permitting under Massachusetts law.
Counsel clients on environmental risks and liabilities in real estate and business transactions.
Navigate complex local and state permitting and regulatory compliance matters.
Provide strategic advice on environmental statutes, including RCRA and CERCLA, and handle agency enforcement actions.
Support real estate transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in environmental and real estate law.
Deep knowledge of Massachusetts environmental and land use regulations.
Experience with RCRA, CERCLA, and agency enforcement actions preferred.
Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required.
Strong communication, drafting, and analytical skills.
