Job Description
Join one of the nation’s top-ranked healthcare systems as an Environmental Worker and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain patient rooms, offices, and hospital areas in a clean and sanitary condition
- Clean and disinfect precaution rooms following infection control procedures
- Restock supplies such as paper and soap across hospital areas
- Safely remove trash, soiled linen, and equipment from patient rooms to designated areas
- Operate and maintain carts/equipment in a safe, orderly condition
- Report maintenance issues and follow departmental safety guidelines
- Collaborate with staff and respond promptly to Environmental Services requests
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Ability to stand and perform duties throughout the shift
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and patient-centered service
- Comfort using smartphones or PDAs for job assignments
Schedule:
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Weekends and holidays may be required
